Email Me...
Kim Rahn is originally from Corbin, Kentucky. After attending Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kim relocated to the Savannah area in 1987. She landed a position as store manger for a national chain specializing in women’s fashion. It was at this time that she met and married Shannon Rahn. Kim was now part of a family that has lived in Richmond Hill since the late 1970’s.
For the early to mid -nineties, Kim served exclusively in her most important role, that of mother. She has two sons that have known only one hometown, Richmond Hill. During this time, she became very involved in the community. Being very active in the local school system, she served on the Parent Advisory Board for both Carver Elementary and Richmond Hill Middle School. She was chairperson for the annual Cookie Dough Fundraisers and the School Book Fairs for the Primary, Elementary and Carver schools. She and her sons have been very active in the local recreation department, taking full advantage of the excellent facilities Richmond Hill has to offer.
In the late nineties, Kim began looking for new challenges. Over the years she had watched Richmond Hill grow. She became interested in real estate, loving the idea of helping people discover and settle into the community she had grown so fond of. In 1998, Kim gained her real estate license. Soon after, she added an Appraisers License to her accomplishments.
Not wanting to settle for just any agency, Kim searched for one that shares her ideals and commitment to community. She found such a firm with Linda Barker and the Richmond Hill Land and Realty team. Kim feels she is part of a group that understands and accepts its responsibility in promoting and selling Richmond Hill. It is not just a market, but a place they call home.
Kim Rahn feels the same sense of dedication to her clients as she does her town. Matching the right buyer with the right seller is no accident, it takes someone who understands and cares for both sides of the deal. Kim is just such a professional. She feels her ultimate task is to connect the two parties together to make a successful transaction. From this approach, everyone can come out a winner.
